Child Abuse, Pennsylvania Criminal Background, and FBI Fingerprint clearances must be obtained before anyone can work or volunteer in a school. Clearances usually take four to six weeks to process. Processing could take longer depending on the volume of requests. The Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification form can also be downloaded below.
For Child Abuse and PA Criminal clearances, a credit card is necessary to pay for and complete the transactions online. The FBI Fingerprint clearance is paid for at the fingerprinting location, but an appointment must be made online.

Act 114 - FBI Fingerprinting
EWCTC employees may have their fingerprints taken at the Latrobe School District Administration Building – by appointment only – (1816 Lincoln Ave, Latrobe – 724-539-4200), but this site is closed to the general public. The FBI Fingerprint clearance process is started, online, by making an appointment at the nearest fingerprinting location. Choose a location (Latrobe will not be an option) and select a WALK-IN appointment. At the end of the process, there will be a UEID# given – print that page – take that UEID# to the Latrobe Administration Building along with photo identification. The cost will be around $25 – credit cards are acceptable – you will be given a receipt. Bring that receipt into the office and give it to Elaine Opferman. Fingerprinting results will be downloaded after they have processed. After clicking the above link, scroll to “Digital Fingerprinting” Service Code is 1KG6NX - then follow the prompts to make an appointment. If you have any problems with this process, you can call IdentoGo at 1-844-321-2101 and select option 3 to talk to a customer service representative.
